I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and lived there until I moved to Rochester, New York to attend the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). I graduated from RIT with a BA and MS in Computer Science in 2021 and stayed in Rochester for about three years before moving back to Pittsburgh in 2024.

I am passionate about learning new things and have many different interests, including languages (both learning and creating), mathematics, music, history, politics, and flags. I occasionally dabble in flag creation and created a personal flag for myself in 2017, which is shown below. This flag is the basis of the logo I normally use (when not using my favorite animal, the humble tardigrade).

My personal flag
My personal flag. The colors represent tranquility (blue), curiosity (purple), and parsimony (yellow). The hexagon implied by the six semi-circles represents an emergent object which is greater than the sum of its parts (consciousness).
